Columbia 1958

Columbia at Princeton
October 4th, 1958

Princeton wins 43-8

(Band marches on to “Give My Regards to Broadway”)

Ladies and gentlemen, the Princeton University Band presents a MUSICal review. We follow the Princeton tiger on a weekend trip to New York as expressed by hit show tunes of the past year. Friday night the tiger goes to see the hit show “The Music Man.”

“Seventy-six Trombones” (Band forms trombone)

Later in the evening we follow the tiger as he goes to his favorite hide-out in Greenwich village for some evening entertainment.

“Hernando’s Hideaway” (Band forms keyhole)

The following day the tiger returns to Old Nassau to spend a typical Princeton Saturday night.

“Standing on the Corner” (Band forms face with horns)
